CONS.
I think the TeleMedicine module still requires improvement. It is a good integrated solution, but compatibility with the numerous technological platforms that patients may use (laptops, cellphones, etc.) is still a problem that occasionally prevents the patient from connecting to the visit.

Strong, Economical EMR/EHR System - We Have a WINNER!
After using a terrible system with little flexibility and subpar support in the past, it was difficult to switch to AllegianceMD—NO FAULT of AllegianceMD—but we are extremely happy with our choice and would highly recommend them to anyone.
The old company was very uncommunicative and uncooperative, and the data export from the old EMR system took forever and wasn't finished. We were able to overcome the nightmare thanks to AllegianceMD. -AllegianceMD operations support assisted us in setting up so that we could go live before receiving the export data from the previous company. They demonstrated how to add patients, order lab tests, and other procedures for us. and we are overjoyed with them.
PROS.
The exceptional support offered over the phone and via email, along with the fact that our assigned [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been fantastic and is still a wealth of knowledge, are the company's biggest selling points. It was simple to learn the system thanks to electronic manuals and online training modules. Scheduling and new patient setup are quick and simple. -The patient portal is efficient and makes it simple for patients to make changes to their records.
A virtual appointment option in the system has proven to be very helpful during the COVID pandemic. -The formulary system is user-friendly and enables you to perform prior authorization through the system while also allowing you to confirm patient coverage of medications. Refilling prescriptions is made simple with this feature.

CONS.
– Drug/drug interactions and allergies related to medications are displayed, but there is no "hard alert" or pop-up, which could result in risky prescribing procedures. -Medication list must first be saved before it can be faxed; it cannot be faxed directly from the system.
REASONS TO CONVERT TO ALLEGIANCEMD.
The old system had very few customizing options, a rigid user interface, and extremely limited functionality. Their support was difficult to get in touch with, took a while to respond, frequently didn't have answers right away, and took a while to resolve problems.
Features don't function properly.
Due to the program's flaws and how long it took for them to respond to my concerns, I would not at all suggest it. Despite my long and documented history of complaints about not being able to actually use the software, they tried to charge me a cancellation fee when I told them I was leaving. While waiting for this EHR to be functional, I was paying $450 for both this program and another EHR.
I made a switch because that never happened.
PROS.
With regard to intake forms and follow-up notes, documentation was simple. Though they do offer a few standard templates, templates can also be customized. It is also simple to add macros or quick text. This program's notes are the only thing that functions. The patient portal had intermittent issues, but when it does, the questionnaires automatically port into the chart for seamless note integration and no duplicate entry. Both the setup and demo support staff members assigned to my account were very friendly. However, the program's core functionality was flawed. The system made billing simple to use as well.

The system's functionality is overall very well done by Allegiance. There are occasionally disruption-causing outages, but they always seem to be quickly fixed. They are constantly adding new features based on user suggestions, which I believe is crucial for any business you work with.
PROS.
We like how simple it is to create chart templates that are completely adaptable to our pain management practice needs. For brand-new users, it is an incredibly easy system to learn.
CONS.
A more user-friendly report or sort feature would be nice for a few of the features in the orders section. Additionally, billing reports could be sorted and compressed in more ways.
REASONS TO CHANGE TO ALLEGIANCEMD.
A more reliable system with more features was desired to start fresh with a new practice.
