PROS.

Working on both my iPhone and iPad is the best feature for me. This feature is essential to me because I am always on the go and cannot always work at my desk.

CONS.

It was a little challenging for me to figure out how to customize templates the way I like to, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty simple to use.

PROS.

With all the bells and whistles, AdvancedMD Urgent Care EMR Software  is very user-friendly.

CONS.

There are no particularly significant drawbacks.

REASON FOR SELECTING ADVANCEDMD EHR.

Price.

The price was lower and AdvancedMD MD had all the features.

REASONS TO CHANGE TO ADVANCEDMD EHR.

More features were required.

The bells and whistles of this system were present at first, and it keeps getting better!

Avoid Billing Service, just like you would the PM/EHR (even with pop-up ads).

PROS.

The reporting side has more built-in functionality than we will ever need. We have a small practice with only one provider, but the software (PM and EHR) far exceeds our requirements in terms of functionality. 

The user interface is a little difficult to use, and it now displays annoying pop-up advertisements for prescription drugs. in our setting (Family Practice), but not too challenging. The uptime of the system has been remarkable. I can't think of more than two brief breaks in the past year, the longest of which was about half a day and was fixed by the next morning when we got back to work.

CONS.

Advanced MD has a few significant drawbacks, especially with regard to our billing service. If you run a small practice and are searching for an all-encompassing software package (PM/EHR/Billing), keep the following in mind: Advanced MD is pricey in comparison to other all-encompassing solutions. We had lower-than-average monthly net income, so when I called to request a reduction, I was informed that they would like to raise the rate to 9%. 

The fact that they chose not to raise it prompted us to look into other vendors. Nobody else has given us a quote for the same services that is higher than 6 percent. Additionally, not every vendor has a monthly minimum. In our patient's electronic health record, we also get pop-up drug ads. advertisements for drugs in our patients' charts. 

Shortly after the ads began, I called tech support to inquire about them. I was informed that we couldn't remove them because they were built into the software. Ads being forced into the software seems unexpected. The software performs well, despite the cost and pushed advertisements. Not so much the billing service. Before we were given a person to contact for problems relating to our service, we had been using Advanced MD for more than a year. 

We received an Account Manager from them a little more than a month ago. In general, Advanced MD so

ftware will work well for you if you can put up with the intrusive advertising found in an expensive software package and don't need any help or direction beyond what can be found in online videos. While the billing service cannot be compared, I would assume that it is a separate concern and cost for the majority of practices. We decided to bundle, and that is how it is assessed. Even at the price, I believe it to be a respectable software package if you only use the PM/EHR.

EHR is merely adequate, while PM is excellent.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the PM, and I'm "2-3 out of 5" satisfied with the EHR. The challenging quirks become automatic once you become familiar with them. However, something that is "second nature" to me now would be horrifying to someone who is used to a more adaptable, user-friendly EHR.

PROS.

Advanced MD's scheduling feature is very simple to use. Simply click, choose "move," and then click on the new date and time to move the appointment. I like how you can change the time intervals, color-code different appointment types, and give each one a default duration. A patient can be easily added. Making billing notes, sending messages or tasks, and entering patient information are all quick and easy tasks. The EHR has some useful features, such as the ability to import medication history from a national database, look up pharmacies, personalize acronyms, and use pull-down menus to insert frequently used phrases.

CONS.

When it comes down to it, customizing the templates can be quite challenging if you have not received formal training from Advanced MD experts, which is an additional cost. It is nearly impossible to try to figure it out on your own by watching training videos online because they are not tailored to your situation. 

Additionally, it is nearly impossible to find training videos that address particular questions. You must first choose the "WordMerge" option from a menu before clicking several times until a word document opens, which you can THEN print. I think it takes far too many clicks to print out a note. When an entire medical record is requested, I have to go through this process numerous times because I haven't found a quick way to print out all of a patient's notes. 

Numerous conferences and trainings are offered by Advanced MD, but they all have exorbitant costs and are generally held in remote locations. I wish training was less expensive and more widely available. I would prefer it if a typical user could create templates with greater ease and intuition.
