How was the airplane invented?

 Airplanes are fixed-wing aircraft powered by fuel and propelled by thrust from jet engines or propellers. The airplane was invented by his two American brothers, Orville Wright and Wilbur Wright. Wilbur was the older brother, he was born on April 16, 1867.

Over time, the aircraft's design, control, and performance have improved, and it is now a modern aircraft capable of crossing continents in a matter of hours.

For thousands of years, people have had the desire to fly like birds. Many inventors and craftsmen have tried to develop wings and jump off mountains to fly, but most have died in the process.

The first successful person to build the world's first successful flying machine was the Muslim scientist "Abbas ibn Firnas". In 875 Abbas ibn Firnas designed a pair of wings made of wood and silk. These wings were sewn onto the wooden frame that carried them. He jumped off a hill and was able to fly for 10 minutes.

Two American inventors, Wilbur Wright and Orville Wright, were interested in gliders and how they fly. They decided to build their own glider and test its flight.

The desire to build gliders was actually demonstrated by Wilbur Wright. He was inspired by a magazine article about the work of German glider pioneer Otto Lilienthal. After this, both Wilbur and Orville Wright began working on gliders and created their own gliders. The Wright brothers found many problems with the glider and tried to fix them. To do this, they built their own wind tunnel for testing gliders. They tested many configurations of the glider's wings and tail. In the end, they found a shape that was successful in wind tunnel testing.

After the glider geometry was finalized, they had to design the propulsion system for the glider's flight. To do this, they spent months researching and designing the propellers and motors that power the glider.

Orville dropped out during his senior year of high school in 1889 and decided to enter the printing business. With Wilbur's help, he designed and built his own printing press. Wilbur joined Orville in the printing business, he was appointed editor, and Orville became publisher. They printed a weekly newspaper called the West Side News, which later became a daily newspaper called the Evening Item. It was published for four months, after which the brothers decided to concentrate on commercial printing. In December 1892 the brothers opened a bicycle sales and repair shop and in 1896 began manufacturing bicycles.



Gliders and inventions

In May 1896, Samuel Langley flew a fixed-wing, unmanned, steam-powered model aircraft. Midway through the same year, his Chicago engineer Octave Chanute gathered a few men to test different types of gliders in the dunes of Lake Michigan. In August, he was killed in a Lilienthal glider crash. This incident sparked the Wright brothers' interest in flight research.

In 1899, Wilbur requested publications and information on aviation from the Smithsonian Institution, and the brothers began mechanical aviation experiments the same year. They based their experiments on the works of Chanute, Sir George Cayley, Lilienthal, Langley and Leonardo da Vinci.

The Wright brothers worked on several different gliders over the years, but most of the first models had no engines. Their first powered glider was built in his 1903. They chose a sandy beach in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. they were camping there. From 1901 to 1903 he hopped back and forth between Dayton and Kitty Hawk. They came close to flying. On December 17, 1903, the time finally came. They flew 4 times that day. Orville flew Wright his flyer for the first time. This flight lasted his 12 seconds. It went 120 feet. Her second flight and her third flight each climbed about 175 feet. Wilbur made his fourth flight of the day. It went 859 feet. He lasted 59 seconds. After this last flight the wind blew very strongly. I blew the flyer onto the sand. The plane crashed too much to fly again. They sent the good news of their escape to their father. Then they packed up to get home in time for Christmas.

The Wright brothers were constantly researching and testing new designs. They wanted to make their flyers better. They started teaching others to fly. They even opened their own flight school. The brothers became rich and famous. Everything went well for her. Unfortunately, Wilbur died of typhus in May 1912. Orville was 77 when he died. He died trying to fix the doorbell. Orville had a good life. He used to travel around the world to meet celebrities. Despite his huge success, Orville was still just a regular guy. About 100 years after the first flight.
